Educational Visit of IEK AKTO to forlabels
On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, forlabels welcomed more than 25 students from the departments of Graphic Design, Illustration & Animation (4th semester) of IEK AKTO ART & DESIGN to its facilities.
The students, accompanied by forlabels executives, had the opportunity to observe the operation of cutting-edge production machines for flexible packaging, adhesive labels, and shrink sleeves. The tour included a comprehensive presentation of the human resources in the various departments of the company, with stops at the following points:
- Prepress – Pre-printing Department
- QA – Quality Control
- CTP – Plate Engraving Department
- Production Office
- Digital Printing Technology
- Flexographic Printing
- Post-printing and Packaging Department
- Warehouse – Distribution
Thus, the students gained a complete overview of the entire workflow, from the receipt of electronic files, product design and development, implementation of print runs on printing machines, to the packaging and shipping of goods. A productive dialogue took place with Forlabels executives, resulting in the students gaining valuable insights and experiences to connect their studies with market requirements, and to understand the realistic needs and demands of the industry in depth.
