A new series of 185 ml wines by Spiropoulos Winery, inspired by Aristophanes’ comedy “Lysistrata,” brought to life four distinct wines named after the main characters of the play. These four labels, each with a unique flavor and personality, were designed to stand out and become lasting favorites.

Implementation
In ancient Athens, during the Peloponnesian War, the women, led by Lysistrata, decide to end the war and restore peace to their homeland. Among the gathered women, apart from Lysistrata, Cleonike from Athens, the young Myrrhine, and the Spartan Lampito stand out. Lysistrata, who conceived the original idea, secretly convenes all the Athenian women, along with representatives from other cities. The women gather, but when she proposes a sexual strike until the men agree to end the war, they initially resist. However, after much hesitation, they are convinced when Lampito decisively joins Lysistrata’s plan.

The decision is sealed with an oath over wine:

“Drink this wine and keep the oath,

And if one breaks it, may the wine turn to water.”

This new series of wines is here to dazzle us with its intoxicating aromas and to show, with its boldness, that it’s here to stay!

Result
To make this project both attractive and engaging for the audience, Forlabels implemented its variable data application, printing four different labels representing the four distinct characters from Aristophanes’ comedy. The creative and distinct designs made the bottles collectible.
