Project:
Mosaic shrink sleeve for candy jars
Designer:
Yonas Design, Giorgos Yonas
Objective:
Forlabels aimed to showcase its innovative label printing technique, Mosaic, by creating a series of shrink sleeve labels for candy jars, which were offered as promotional gifts to its partners. The company collaborated with Yonas Design, which crafted a series of labels featuring variations of a pop art painting. The goal was to demonstrate the creative potential of the Mosaic technique in producing visually appealing and, most importantly, unique packaging.
With the Mosaic technique, by focusing on a specific section of the artwork for each label, Forlabels created one-of-a-kind labels for each jar. Each section transforms into a distinct artistic composition while still resembling the original design. This approach gives the product both a digital and real-world identity on the shelf, creating a lasting consumer experience. The consumer finds a reflection of themselves, their uniqueness, and their personality in the packaging, while also connecting with the values and diversity of the people behind the product.
Result:
Forlabels successfully demonstrated how the Mosaic printing technique can differentiate a product’s packaging, making it particularly attractive, unique, and collectible for each consumer. Additionally, the project highlighted the practical applications of the technique, offering designers and creative agencies insights into how they can leverage Mosaic for their clients.
