Project:
Mosaic Rosé Wine Labels
Designer:
Yonas Design, George Giona
Objective:
Forlabels aimed to promote its FacePack philosophy, which emphasizes that each packaging should be unique, collectible, and a meeting point of communication between the product, the producer, and the consumer. To achieve this, they applied the Mosaic printing technique to the rosé wine label. They collaborated with the creative agency Yonas Design, which designed a label in various iterations inspired by one of René Magritte’s most famous paintings.
The objective was to showcase how the creative possibilities of the Mosaic technique could be utilized to create an attractive and, above all, unique packaging. The Mosaic printing technique allows for a focus on a specific segment of the artwork for each bottle, creating distinct one-of-a-kind labels with impressive results. Each segment is transformed into a unique artistic composition while still evoking the essence of the original artwork.
In this instance, based on Magritte’s painting, a total of 2,000 unique and different labels were printed.
Result:
Forlabels successfully demonstrated how the Mosaic printing technique can differentiate packaging, making it particularly attractive, unique, and collectible for each consumer. The project also showcased the practical applications of this technique and how designers and creative agencies can leverage it for their clients.
